  • Fingerprinting: MorphoTrust does fingerprinting in our Community Room on Tuesdays from 9:30-2:00. People need to make an appointment through the MorphoTrust call center (877-472-6915). Applicants can also book appointments online by going to All applicants are required to schedule an appointment prior to coming in to be fingerprinted. They cannot walk-in and be fingerprinted. You must bring ID.
  • Use of the Simmons Memorial Room and the Community Room (downstairs) — see the Library Director for details.
  • Our library agrees to issue a library card to any individual who lives, works, goes to school, or pays real property taxes within the Tupper Lake Central School district. To get a library card, bring in your license and proof of current address.
  • Many resources are available through our “Library of Things” in Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System — from Baking pans to “Book Clubs in a Bag” to VR headsets. To borrow these kits, please contact our library staff.

  1. I tried to renew books that are due today but I need the pin number to do so. Ann Shumway.

    • Hi Ann, You PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn’t work, call the library at 359-9421 and we’ll check to see what is the PIN that you chose when we set up your library card.
