Events at your library

Winter Break activities might be over, but we still have plenty of things happening at your library. Check out the Events tab, which we update almost every day.

You can also click on the link to our FaceBook page, on the right side of this screen, where we post pictures of events at the library.

Winter Break fun at the Library!

We are planning several events at the library during Winter Break (Feb 20-23). Although the library is closed on Monday for Presidents Day, we’re lining up various multi-generational events for the rest of the week. We’ll have a Pre-K Story Time each morning at 10:00 (not just Tuesday).

On Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, Lisa Kimpflen will show kids (age 5 and older) and adults how to make jewelry with fancy beads in the Community Room. At 2:30, we’ll get creative with littleBits in the Community Room.

On Wednesday starting at 1:00, we’ll have a workshop on getting started with your Family History. At 3:00, we’ll get creative with littleBits in the Community Room. About 5:30, we’ll have a Knitting 101 class with Sarah Pratt upstairs.

On Thursday, we’ll have a Photography 101 lesson with Paul Chartier at 1:00 (bring your camera!). At 1:00, Ben Gocker will show kids how to make a mini comic book that you can take home with you. And we’ll have more time to get creative with littleBits about 3:00. All of these activities are in the Community Room.

For more information, swing by the library or call us at 359-9421. All of these events will be free, but you need to register so we have enough materials. You can also see more detail about these events on our Facebook page.
