Small Business Saturday: November 26

Come in for Small Business Saturday on November 26th. We have several shopping suggestions:

  • Christmas Village pieces to add to your Dickens Village collection or train sets. Prices are greatly reduced! Make us an offer! This is a fundraiser for our Building Improvement Project.
  • New Adirondack Local History books.
  • Green Goff-Nelson Memorial Library tote bags.
  • Gently used books for that certain someone.

Closed on Veterans Day

We will be closed on Friday, November 11th in recognition of Veterans Day. We will be open on Saturday, November 12th from 10:00 to 2:00 as usual. Enjoy the long weekend! When you see a Veteran, thank them for their service!

Session: Adult Mental Health issues

Tonight: November 8 – Adirondack Health’s November Community Outreach Series will address various mental health diagnosis and the signs and symptoms to look for.  Director of Adirondack Health’s Colby Senior Behavioral Health, Kristina Hybicki, LCSW, will present “Mental Health for the Mature Generation.”  Adirondack Health’s Colby Center specializes in mental health care for individuals 55 years of age and older.

This event runs from 6 – 7 p.m in our Community Room (enter by the lower back entrance). It is free for everyone, and provides refreshments. To learn more, contact Eileen Mowrey at 897-2321.

Halloween treats!

Instead of giving out candy for Halloween, we gave out books! We had more than 475 people stop in, and we gave away over 165 books! Thanks to Mrs. Claus for coming in too! You can see photos on our Facebook page by clicking here.
