Downtown revitalization talk: April 25th

The Adirondack Main Streets Program and Integrated Tupper Lake Case Study – Clarkson University’s Adirondack Semester students, in partnership with the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA), have developed a Main Streets Program to encourage sustainable rural economic growth, particularly for lower-income residents of the Park. Downtown revitalization is a critical component in addressing rural economic development and sustainability in the Adirondack Park. This semester’s students have focused on the creation of the major components of an Adirondack Main Streets Program with an associated supplemental case study designed to complement Tupper Lake’s current Revitalization Strategy. This program focuses on entrepreneurship, clean energy, beautification, low-income economic opportunities, local food access, amenities, land-use strategies, and other improvements. Join us on April 25th at 6:30 in our Community Room.
