October 21: Adirondack Health listening forum

On October 21, there will be an Adirondack Health listening forum to gather input for healthier communities.

The public is invited to attend a series of listening sessions intended to gather input on how it sees Adirondack Health adding value to the health of our community. The session for Tupper Lake will be held on October 21st at 6:30 in our Community Room.

Adirondack Health is currently updating its Community Service Plan, which is a roadmap for how Adirondack Health and its many partners work together to implement strategies and interventions for improving the health and well-being of residents and visitors in our region.

“We encourage residents to attend the listening sessions to share their thoughts, suggestions and hopes for the future of care in our community,” said Chandler Ralph, President & CEO of Adirondack Health.

Attendees are being asked to share their thoughts on three main questions:

  • What do you think are the three most important factors for a healthy community? (Those health or wellness factors which most improve the quality of life)
  • What do you think are the three most important health problems in our community? (Those problems that have the greatest impact on overall community health)
  • How can Adirondack Health improve the health of our community?

All attendees at each session will have their names entered into a free drawing for a $60 gift basket. For more information, go to

Community members can also provide their input by taking a simple online survey at the following link:
