World Book Night – today!

World Book Night is all about giving free books to people who don’t read much, so we can encourage them to read more! Today four people will be giving away 100 free books around Tupper Lake: Joy is giving out books at the Middle School/High School; Peg and Rebecca will be giving out books at the McDonald’s restaurant after school (about 3:30); Suzanne will be giving out books at Stewart’s on Park St. We will give away books until they’re gone!

So if you know anyone who is a non-reader or light reader, send them to one of these locations around town for free books!

New hours

Starting this week, the new library hours will be:

Monday-Wednesday 9:30-8:00; Thursday and Friday 9:30-5:30; Saturday 10:00-2:00. We’ll be closing at 5:30 on Thursdays.
