Storytime with Pre-K

Every Tuesday: Join us for Storytime with Pre-K at 10:30. Introduce young children to books and reading at our fun story times. Each week, we read stories to match the ages and attention spans of the children attending. Parents make new friends and learn how to encourage early literacy skills to prepare their children for learning to read. We’re always available to answer questions about books and library services, and teach parents how to interest their children in books.

World Book Night USA

Just 4 days left to apply to be a WBN giver. World Book Night is an annual celebration dedicated to spreading the love of reading, person to person.  Each year on April 23 –Shakespeare’s birthday– tens of thousands of people in the U.S. go out into their communities and give a total of half a million free World Book Night paperbacks to light and non-readers. The whole idea is to encourage reading and literacy. See for more information. You must register by Jan. 5, 2014.
