Storytime for Pre-K starts on September 3rd.

Starting on September 3rd, we’ll have storytime for Pre-K children at 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday.  Come and introduce your young children to books and reading at our fun story times. Each week, we’ll read stories for fun and education. Parents make new friends and learn how to encourage early literacy skills to prepare their children for learning to read. We’re always available to answer questions about books and library services, and teach parents how to interest their children in books.

Keep reading for an iPad mini!

Hey, remember to KEEP READING! The contest is still on for the iPad minis! One will be given to the K-2 student who read the most books this summer, and one will be given to the 3-6th grade student who read the most books this summer. Mrs. Merrihew will be giving the iPads to two good readers when you return to LP Quinn in September! Dig into Reading and bring your log sheets to the library! And I have gift certificates for students in grades 7-12 who read the most.

Starting on September 3rd, we’ll be having a weekly story time for Pre-K kids on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. We’ll introduce young children to books and reading at our fun story times. Each week, we read stories to match the ages and attention spans of the children attending. Parents make new friends and learn how to encourage early literacy skills to prepare their children for learning to read. We’re always available to answer questions about books and library services, and teach parents how to interest their children in books.

Save the dates!
